House of composer Jonas Bendorius

Jonas Bendorius (1889–1954) was a composer, teacher, and musician.
He lived and worked in his house at 7 Birutės Alley in Palanga during the summers. He was awarded the honorary title of Distinguished Artist of the Lithuanian SSR in 1945.
J. Bendorius’ house in Palanga was entered into the Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania in 1997. The villa was marked with a memorial plaque in 2015, and the building is protected by the state.
