Quick key combinations. For people with visual impairments, most of the items on this website can be accessed using a combination of keys:
Control and +/- or Control and mouse wheel up or down: increases and decreases text size;
Press the SHIFT key five times: turns key locking on and off;
Hold down the SHIFT key for eight seconds: turns key filtering on and off;
Hold down the NUM LOCK key for five seconds: turns on and off the switch sound;
Left ALT+left SHIFT+NUM LOCK: turns on and off mouse emulation on the keyboard;
Left ALT+left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN: turns on and off the contrast image;
Other key combinations:
F1 – calls up the help menu;
F2 – renames the selected directory or file;
F3 – opens the file search window on the desktop;
F5 – refreshes the screen;
F10 – opens the program menu;
Ctrl + A – selects all objects on the desktop;
Alt + Enter – opens the object properties panel;
Alt – underlined letter in the menu – selects the menu section;
Alt + F4 – closes the window;
Ctrl + C – copies the selected objects to the computer’s memory;
Ctrl + V – pastes the copied objects to the selected location;
Delete – deletes the selected object;
Ctrl + D – deletes the selected object;
Alt + Space – opens the window menu;
Shift + F10 – opens the menu of the selected object;
Ctrl + Esc – calls up the Start menu;
Alt + Tab – selects the next window;
Ctrl + Z – undoes the last action;
