Monument to cultural figure and physician Liudas Vaineikis

Liudas Vaineikis (1869–1938) was a doctor, cultural figure, and organizer of the distribution of banned Lithuanian publications.
In 1933, he was elected deputy mayor of Palanga.
Next to the memorial bust is a plaque commemorating Liudas Vaineikis and his wife, writer Stasė Vaineikienė.
Until 1973, the monument now stands on the site of the house where these distinguished figures lived intermittently from 1897 to 1941.
