Palanga concert hall
At the end of 2015, a new concert hall featuring state-of-the-art technology was opened in Palanga.
The new concert hall covers an area of almost 5,000 square meters, rises more than 14 meters above the ground, and is sunk another 6 meters below ground. The building has a round shape and is designed to operate not only during the warm season, but all year round. The lighting system allows for various lighting options for the building’s facade, and the hall itself is distinguished by its exceptional lighting – light enters the premises through a skylight and windows “cut” into the facade.
The concert hall has an amphitheater with 2,200 seats arranged around the stage. In order to ensure that the music sounds particularly good here, the new hall had to meet extremely high quality requirements. Therefore, only special acoustic materials that prevent echoes and maximize protection against noise transmission to the environment were used in the construction of the premises.
Exceptional acoustics
The Palanga Concert Hall features state-of-the-art acoustic technology – there are 8 microphones installed on the stage and 112 speakers in the circular hall, so that listeners sitting anywhere in the auditorium can enjoy exceptional sound quality.
The highly professional and powerful digital electroacoustic system is suitable for performances by artists of various musical genres – the system adapts the acoustics of the hall to the needs of the musical genre being performed on stage.
The Palanga Concert Hall is suitable for pop and chamber music concerts, wind music concerts, musical performances, television projects, and other events of various genres. It is expected that the new hall will attract music lovers from Lithuania and neighboring countries during the cold season, as the resort can now offer concert sound equipment for even the most discerning performers and listeners.
