Palanga Airport is a regional airport located on the Baltic Sea. It is a convenient point of departure not only for Palanga, but also for other cities, as the airport has well-developed road connections with the most important cities in western Lithuania and neighboring countries.
There are 570,000 people living within an 80 km radius of the airport. The airport runway is 2,280 m long and 45 m wide. The airport’s infrastructure allows it to serve small and medium-sized aircraft such as the B737, A320, Dash 8 Q400, CRJ900, CRJ200, ATR 42, and others.
Every year, the airport serves an impressive number of travelers. In 2019, Palanga Airport served 338,000 passengers, and in 2020, 120,000 passengers.
In 2021, Palanga Airport was renovated and reopened its doors to passengers with even greater convenience.
Aircraft from Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dublin (Ireland), Copenhagen (Denmark), London (United Kingdom), Oslo (Norway), and Riga (Latvia) fly to Palanga International Airport.
