“Star”
Ukraine and Lithuania are two sisters sharing a history spanning several centuries. It is a history we are proud of, one that has allowed us to maintain ties between different ethnic groups and a desire to be warm and close friends.
The deepest tradition connecting Lithuanians and Ukrainians is their food culture. Lithuanians practically worship homemade dumplings, there are songs dedicated to borscht, and we have heard many delicious legends about the famous Kiev cutlet.
When we opened our doors to you in 2000, we hoped to fulfill our family’s dream of creating a cozy, healthy environment that would harmoniously blend with our own origins. Throughout all these years of Žvaigždės, you have given us the opportunity to become little ambassadors of Ukrainian food culture in Lithuania. In gratitude, we strive to delight you not only in the summer, but also in the cooler autumn and cold winter…
So, if you miss the taste of real borscht, winter dirūnas with cranberries, or any of our other favorite dishes, remember that you are always welcome in our home! From our hands to your heart. Because it’s more fun to cherish together, and it tastes so much better!
