House of the composer Jonas Bendorius

Bendorius Jonas (1889-1954) – composer, teacher (musician).

He lived and worked in his house in Palanga, Birutės al. 7. He was awarded the honorary title of Meritorious Artist of the Lithuanian SSR (1945).

Bendorius’ house in Palanga was included in the Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania (1997). The villa is marked with a commemorative plaque (2015), the building is under state protection.
