Villa “Gintaras”
According to data from 1934, a 14.68-acre plot of land was purchased by lawyer Pranas Viktoras Raulinaitis. It is believed that he bought the land from the Counts Tiškevičiai. In the 1940s, P. V. Raulinaitis built a two-story villa with an attic called “Gintaras.” The building reflects the style of wooden resort villas of the early 20th century. During the Soviet era, the villa was nationalized, and in the second half of the 20th century, a rest home was established there. In 2014, the building was granted the status of a cultural property of local significance.
The register indicates that one of the most significant values of the object is the architectural design of the facades. The original and historically established purpose of the building is residential and recreational. During the summer season, the building houses a café.
