The house where the statesman and public figure Jonas Pranas Aleksa spent his summers

Aleksa Jonas Pranas (1879-1955) – Lithuanian statesman and public figure, agronomist, sociologist, economist. Minister of Agriculture and State Property of the Republic of Lithuania (1920-1923), Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania (1926-1935), member of the press. Summered in Palanga (1925-1940). Buried in Palanga town cemetery. A memorial plaque was unveiled at the house at 52 Vytautas Street in Palanga (2009).
