Observation wheel in Palanga

Palanga has the largest and most modern observation wheel in Lithuania and the Baltic States. It offers bird’s-eye views stretching from Šventoji to Klaipėda.

The Ferris wheel was designed by Mondial, a company that has been manufacturing Ferris wheels and other complex amusement rides in the Netherlands for more than four decades. High-quality Mondial observation wheels with their unique design and impressive night lighting have been decorating major cities in Western and Northern Europe, Australia, the USA, Canada, and other countries for many years.

The Ferris wheel, located in the Palanga Summer Park recreation and entertainment complex on J. Basanavičiaus Street, is designed to operate in both winter and summer. The most modern and tallest Ferris wheel ever built in Lithuania is over 40 meters high.

The Ferris wheel operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., depending on weather conditions. The 27 gondolas can accommodate 160 people, 6 in each.

Three revolutions are made in about ten minutes.

The cabin is accessible to disabled people with wheelchairs.
