Monument to the volunteer soldiers of Samogitia

Daukanto g., Palanga (near the house-museum of Antanas Mončys) Sculptor J. Jagėla A monument to the volunteer soldiers of Samogitia was unveiled in Palanga in 2014. Its construction was initiated by the Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces A. Pocius, the Ministry of National Defense, and the 3rd Samogitian District. This monument is dedicated to the memory of the volunteer soldiers of Samogitia who served from 1918 to 1991.
