Jonas Basanavičius street
This is the central street of the town. Previously, this street was called Tiškevičiaus Street or Boulevard. In the summer of 1924, Dr. Jonas Basanavičius visited Palanga. To honor the patriarch of the nation, the residents of Palanga renamed Tiškevičiaus Boulevard after J. Basanavičius.
Every vacationer passes through this street many times, as it has many cafes and various entertainment options and is the main street leading to the pier.
