Car parking
When travelling to the resort by car, it is necessary to pay attention to the local toll rules for using the parking spaces designated by the Palanga City Council:
The fee depends on the specific parking location and duration.
The city of Palanga is divided into zones by color. The cost of parking varies in different zones.
From May 15 to September 15, inclusive, from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, the following fees apply:
In the green zone, for parking one car:
thirty minutes – EUR 1.1, payable immediately upon parking the car;
one hour – EUR 2.2, payable immediately upon parking the car;
In the red zone, parking one car costs:
thirty minutes – EUR 0.8, payable immediately upon parking the car;
one hour – EUR 1.6, payable immediately after parking the car;
In the yellow zone, parking one car costs:
thirty minutes – EUR 0.4, payable immediately after parking the car;
one hour – EUR 0.8, payable immediately after parking the car;
From May 15 to September 15 inclusive, if you do not pay for parking, regardless of the time parked on that day in the green zone – EUR 40, in the red zone – EUR 30, in the yellow zone – EUR 20, if you pay later or leave the designated payment location, by 24:00 the following day.
From September 16 to May 14 inclusive, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., for parking one car in the green zone street sections: Vytauto g. (from Kęstučio g. to S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno g.), S. Daukanto g. from Kęstučio Street to A. Mickevičiaus Street, A. Mickevičiaus Street from S. Daukanto Street to the western boundary of the plot at A. Mickevičiaus Street 1, Gedimino Street from Birutės Alley to Meilės Alley, and in the parking lot next to the building at Birutės Alley 36:
thirty minutes – €0.50, payable immediately after parking the car;
one hour – €1.00, payable immediately after parking the car;
From September 16 to May 14 inclusive, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., without paying for parking, regardless of the time parked on that day, in the green zone street sections – 20 euros, payable later or upon departure from the designated payment location, by 12:00 a.m. the following day.
For the issuance of an electric vehicle permit for a period of one year – €15
An electric vehicle permit is a permit that grants the right to park a vehicle that is powered solely by an electric energy storage system and is equipped with an electric drive only, in a paid parking space located in a taxable area. An electric vehicle permit is mandatory for operators (drivers) of electric motor vehicles.

Operation of car parks
Residents and visitors arriving by car can leave their vehicles in a special car park (Ronžės g. 5A). Parking here is subject to a fee.
The fee can be paid using a parking meter, by SMS via your mobile operator, or using one of four mobile apps: uniPark, Flowbird, carOne, and ParkMan, as well as directly by bank transfer on the Palanga Toll Center self-service website.
If, due to the size of the car or other objective reasons, the car occupies more than one parking space (the length of one parking space is 5 m, the width is 2.4 m), the car owner (driver) must pay the fee for all paid parking spaces occupied by the car.
From September 16 to May 14, inclusive, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the parking fee for one car in the green zone streets: Vytauto St. (from Kęstučio St. to S. Dariaus and S. Girėno St.), S. Daukanto St. from Kęstučio St. to A. Mickevičiaus St., A. Mickevičiaus St. from S. Daukanto St. to the western boundary of the plot at A.
