Birutė Park
A cozy vacation in Palanga is unimaginable without the sea, but also without a stroll through one of the most beautiful parks in Northern Europe – Birutė Park. Known as the pearl of Palanga, this resort area is beautified every year to make it even more attractive to vacationers.
Birutė Park was established on the site of the former Birutė Forest and Birutė Hill. The landscape plan for the park was designed by the famous French architect Eduard François André at the end of the 19th century, commissioned by the Counts of Tiškevičiai.
Birutė Park is a great place for a quiet and cozy family getaway, so parents with little ones, young people, older Palanga residents, and visitors all enjoy spending their free time here. Birutė Park is a friendly place not only for the residents and guests of Palanga, but also for their pets. You can visit the park with your pets in accordance with the rules of the Birutė Park administration – animals must be kept on a leash.
