Palanga Gintaras Children’s Rehabilitation Sanatorium
The Palanga Children’s Rehabilitation Sanatorium “Palangos Gintaras” is located in the southern part of Palanga, in a beautiful corner of the Baltic Sea coast.
“Founded in 1990, the children’s sanatorium was an unknown institution, receiving several hundred young patients for treatment each year. Today, Palangos Gintaras is a well-known children’s rehabilitation sanatorium that successfully carries out its therapeutic work, has a treatment and material base, and employs a team of more than 200 people. The sanatorium employs physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors, pediatricians, a gastroenterologist, a child psychiatrist, a reflexotherapist, kinesitherapists, occupational therapists, a social worker, a special education specialist, a speech therapist, psychologists, and a gastroenterologist. The sanatorium is located in a continuous complex of buildings connected by heated corridors.
The sanatorium is located in a single building complex connected by heated corridors. Patients are accommodated in double rooms with amenities. There are recreation rooms with TVs and various board games. School-age children attend a nearby school.
