The Gradiali sanatorium is located in a natural setting, surrounded by pine forests, very close to the Baltic Sea. The Gradiali sanatorium is proud of its mineral water from a 570-meter-deep well in Žvorūnė, which is used by guests for drinking and for relaxation and rehabilitation procedures (inhalations, baths, underwater massage, and swimming pools). It is magnesium-calcium-sodium-chloride mineral water with a total mineralization of 20 g/l and a slightly alkaline pH of 7.67. According to scientific research conducted to determine the age of the underground waters, it has been confirmed that the age of Žvorūnė is 225-250 thousand years (Dr. Vytautas Samalavičius, researcher at the Institute of Geosciences, Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, Vilnius University).

Mineral water is used to treat digestive tract diseases (chronic gastritis, uncomplicated stomach and duodenal ulcers, chronic colitis, enterocolitis, chronic inflammation of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, gallbladder dyskinesia, chronic pancreatitis), endocrine diseases (early stages of diabetes mellitus, obesity) and kidney diseases (kidney stones, urinary tract diseases), and early sore throat (for gargling).

We recommend drinking mineral water according to the recommendations provided in our drinking halls, located on the first and second floors of the sanatorium.

Located just 500 meters from the sea, the Gradiali sanatorium opened its doors in 2013 and had 60 rooms. After renovation (in 2018 and 2022), the sanatorium now offers 191 modern and cozy rooms and suites for your relaxation.

All our rooms are equipped with TV, telephone, desk, shower, mini safe and hairdryer, and wireless internet access is available for your convenience. The suites and apartments have kitchenettes with microwave ovens. Most rooms have access to balconies. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or on the balconies. There are designated smoking areas (outside).

The Gradiali sanatorium offers a wide range of spa services: two swimming pools, a Turkish steam bath, spacious whirlpool baths, various body massages, herbal bubble baths, and many other treatments that will relax your body and mind and allow you to enjoy the peace and quiet.
