Alongside the competitions, a variety of cultural and community events will take place.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A family-friendly cultural programme,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>A day camp for children,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>tours, educational activities and exhibitions.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThere will also be a scientific conference and the Global Lithuanian Sports Forum. There will also be a festive celebration of Statehood Day on 6 July, which will include the singing of the national anthem together with Lithuanians around the world.\r\n\r\nThe official opening ceremony will take place on the<strong> evening of 2 July<\/strong>, with competitions b<strong>eginning on 3 July<\/strong> at various sports venues throughout Palanga.\r\n\r\n<strong>Join the celebration!<\/strong>\r\nPalanga residents and visitors are warmly invited to take part in the festivities, cheer on the athletes and join the cultural programme.
